After eventually getting a team together for this year's Sheep Station Classic; with our Captain Kat, Spirit Captain Rick and frisbee veterans Sam and Vicky. We set off to finally claim the Sheep Station Trophy at Orange, which is always a tough challenge. So, setting off from the gloomy and wet Blue Mountains on the last day of summer (28th of February);  we ended up in a sunny and quite warm Orange, much more fitting for the last day of summer.

We were off to a good start, drawing our first game where we versed the Dubbo Meerkats, giving us extra optimism for this year.

​

Unfortunately we began to faulter on our second game against Dubbo's other team; The Boomerangs, we mounted a come back late in the game but alas it was too late.

​

The Third game, all of our hopes lay on us winning against the defending champions; The Orange Snowflakes. If we could win this game we were headed to the final (also against Orange haha).

We were off to a really good start, with our team leading for most of the game, however orange managed to turn it around and win by only one point. a very close game and the most fun game of the day.

​

Orange then went on to play against Dubbo Meerkats and claimed victory in that game as well as maintaining their hold on the Sheep Station Trophy.

​

Disappointing end result but the tournament was enjoyable and everyone had a lot of fun, which is the most important thing.

But Next Year, we will have it for sure...
